Why ProofArc

Use ProofArc when the strongest dispute evidence lives outside Stripe.

Stripe remains the payment and dispute system of record. ProofArc is the review-first evidence layer for cases where product access, login history, support conversations, cancellation context, and policy records decide whether a packet is issuer-grade.

Why ProofArc

Use Stripe-native dispute tools when Stripe already has the evidence. Use ProofArc when the proof lives in your product, support, and policy systems.

ProofArc is not trying to replace Stripe dispute workflows. The public pilot is built first for evidence-rich B2B subscription SaaS, with secondary fit for recurring digital-access merchants that need to turn off-Stripe records into review-ready evidence before an operator stages or submits anything.

Stripe is enough when

  • The dispute only needs payment, refund, or basic customer details
  • Smart Disputes already has all recommended fields covered
  • The merchant does not have usable product or support records

ProofArc adds value when

  • Login, usage, access, or entitlement records prove service delivery
  • Support threads explain cancellation, refund, or policy history
  • Evidence needs attachment planning, source provenance, and review gates

Pilot mode

  • Async audit first, $1,000 fixed-scope pilot only after review
  • Stripe OAuth install instead of pasted secret keys
  • Operator approval before final remote submit

What Stripe already sees well

  • Payment, charge, refund, invoice, and subscription metadata
  • Dispute reason, status, deadlines, and Stripe-native evidence fields
  • Smart Disputes recommendations when Stripe has enough structured context
  • Connected-account dispute submission and file attachment primitives

What ProofArc adds

  • Product/auth timelines that prove access, entitlement, usage, or account activity
  • Support and cancellation threads that explain merchant-customer communication
  • Policy, fulfillment, and subscription-lifecycle context connected to a specific dispute
  • Attachment planning, source provenance, and operator approval before final submission

What the first audit answers

The free audit is intentionally before install. It checks the live dispute amount, nearest deadline, reason-code fit, what Stripe/current intake already has, and which off-Stripe evidence categories would materially improve the packet. If Stripe-native tools are enough, ProofArc should say that before you pay for a pilot.
